Things to Look at when Translating Arabic to English

Filed under: Helpful Tips, World Of Words — admin at 6:53 am on Thursday, March 11, 2010
Arabic writing standards
It is important to remember that Arabic is written from right to left and that words cannot be broken across lines like in English. This is not ordinarily a problem with average documents nonetheless it may pose problems for specifically designed documents.
Being in reverse to the European writing, Arabic page numbering also needs to be adjusted to reverse ordering.
Will the translated text be similar in length?
When translating one language to another, documents will typically inflate or shorten. English to Arabic translation typically extends by about 25%. And Arabic to English translation, as you would expect, shrinks by about 25%. This often depends on the subject matter.
The only two written forms of Arabic are Classical Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. Classical Arabic is only used in the sacred Muslim religious text, the Qur’an and other religious writings, and is taught at schools. Modern Arabic is the language used for business and by the media and is usually the target dialect for translations. Arabic numbers are written differently from English numerals and also require translation.
Getting something as seemingly trivial right, can make a great difference to the success of your Arabic Translation; as you can see if you have a 12 page document written in English, not only will it read the opposite way but you may need to add more pages.

Don t leave your family and children with extra expense and hassle.

The Law Society says that anyone with possessions and family or friends should make a will, disregarding of their age. It is especially important if you are not married to your partner, because the law does not give partners the same rights of inheritance as spouses.

Under the current intestacy rules, an unmarried partner has no rights to property or assets that were not jointly held (although the Law Commission has recently proposed to change this).

Making a will is also vital if you have kids, as you can propose guardians to care for them.

It is important to produce a list of assets and debts and their approximate worth. Include your property, investment, nest egg, insurance policies and pensions.
In addition, consider making specific bequests. Merely informing a family member that an item will be his or hers one day could cause upset later.

You should take professional advice on IHT planning as part of writing your will. Easy measures could save the beneficiaries of more well-to-do homeowners thousands of pounds in tax.

An important component of affecting a will is the naming of executors to ensure that your will wishes are executed.

If you find yourself unable to pay your mortgage on your primary or second home, you may face major consequences. These consequences vary by state, province, and country, so you must be sure to completely understand them.

For instance, when you default on a Spanish mortgage, there are certain consequences. If you are not a Spanish citizen but own a home in Spain, you may think its still possible to easily walk away from the mortgage with no consequences whatsoever. People who were not Spanish citizens but owned a vacation or second home in Spain could default on the mortgage with little or no cost or repercussions. But now Spanish banks have become more aggressive about enforcing mortgage terms for all homeowners, even non-Spanish citizens.

In case a homeowner must default on a mortgage in Spain, turning over the home to the bank is often an option. This option will save you money in court costs incurred by the bank when pursuing you for the balance, as well as additional interest on the mortgage during the court battle. However, turning the home over to the bank is a process that must be negotiated. The bank is under no obligation to let you out of the mortgage by taking the home back. The bank is more likely to accept the home back from you if you have had a true hardship that has affected your ability to make payments on your Spanish mortgage. If your spouse dies or your income has dropped due to another cause that is no fault of your own, the bank may consider that a valid hardship and allow you to turn in your keys to the home.

If you cannot negotiate a home turnover with the bank that holds your Spanish mortgage, you will need to sell the home as soon as possible. You should try to get as much from the home sale as you can, as you will still be responsible to the bank for any shortfall between the home sale amount and the remaining amount on your Spanish mortgage. If the shortfall is significant, the bank will be much more likely to pursue you for that amount. They will attempt to collect the remaining amount they are owed in any legal way they can. This includes placing liens on any assists you may have, such as investment portfolios, your primary residence, and any other property you own that has value. Although it may take years to collect on the shortfall by going through the court systems, the bank that holds your Spanish mortgage will not give up until they do.

If you must default on your Spanish mortgage, it is vital that you contact the bank as soon as possible to work with them. Showing a willingness to work with the bank can allow a homeowner to walk away from a Spanish mortgage with as little financial cost as possible and still retain full ownership of all his or her other assets.

In the past the only choice when one replaced their windows and did not want to use wood was silver aluminium. Accordingly, we are left with a legacy of ruined period homes which in some cases constitute a fire hazard because windows were fashioned without big enough opening sashes to escape through.

Then they became available in white PVCu which were firstly cheap and of low quality and poor design but which went on to become the excellent quality they are today and designed to suit the house ” not the pocket.

House owners now have a much better choice of door and window materials and styles to choose from.

For numerous years, there has been a very large market for patio doors, which provide convenience and provide light and air into a home whilst offering a very effective thermal barrier when shut. Patio doors have recently made way for the Rolls Royce in this market which is now the tremendously versatile bifolding door. They can open an entire wall to allow seamless integration of outside and internal areas, for instance, for parties or for kids to play safely inside and outside on a lovely day. They are also ideal for maximizing space in limited situations such as an opening onto a balcony in a small apartment.

Tips on Shopping Online Safely

Filed under: Caveat Emptor, Helpful Tips — admin at 9:16 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2009

Shopping on the web has become more and more popular, and is fantastic for the shopper - it’s never been easier to go shopping. Moreover, the increase in competition united with low running costs has encouraged cheap prices for goods.

However, as the online market has broadened, so too has the necessity to be cognizant of your consumer rights, and what to do if you find yourself with items that don’t even turn up or faulty items. Information is available online, such as the consumer protection act 1987.

You also need to be aware of what payment provider to use to pay for something, as each payment provider has its own terms. To take an example, Paypal act as an independent arbiter only for physical goods, not digital downloads. Doing your research can stop you getting cheated by internet fraud.

Our word of advice is to do your research regarding the vendor : do they publish their phone number and postal address? What is the seller’s terms and conditions? Their returns policy? Their privacy policy? All these enquiries need to be resolved before you consider buying from the vendor.

Another very issue to consider: what are the methods of purchase? These days, it’s not enough to only look for “the padlock” (SSL certificate) - this won’t inform you how they keep your data, only how it’s transferred when you make the order. If in doubt, only buy from sellers who use third party payment providers such as Google Checkout, PayPal, SagePay, NoChex and WorldPay.You can also verify the reputation the vendor has with his payment gateway, e.g. check his PayPal account and how many transactions have occurred on this individual account.

How to Beat Blood Drug Testing

Passing Drug Tests? Easy!

Well, it’s not exactly Easy. I just told you that to get your attention. With that said, there are a few proficiencies you can carry through into your lifestyle to ascertain you’re passing drug tests at your job.

Don’t do drugs. Clearly, an obvious deviation, and “no duh!”, but you’d be astonished how dumb people can be regarding abstinence.

Consume cranberry juice and/or cranberry extract. Cranberry is a natural detoxifer and helps the urine dispelment process, hence freeing your body of any drug metabolite, albeit to a very low extent. It’s also quite significant, akin to acai berry, or a Miami exotic car rental for the passionatesoul and car enthusiasts.

Another factor of passing drug tests is using detoxification supplements–drinks, oral pills andcapsules, and so forth. On the deep side of things, one has the option(in some states where it is judicial to possess) to consider an additive orsynthetic urine. It seems the more radical the approach, the more efficientthe outcome.

There are many brands accessible, but the top selling and most respected brands are Spectrum Labs, Detoxify, and Zydot. As long as you’re purchasing a detoxification product for passing drug tests, make sure it’s backed by a 200% money back guarantee. Chances are if these companies are willing to back their product with a double your money back guarantee, their wares work. I’d avoid any other brands purely out of brand cognisance, consistency, and reputation. This isn’t to say a new brand could pop up with excellent products. Oh, yes, Clear Choice is another top selling brand that’s been around for over 15 years.

All things being equal, there are many choices available to aid you in passing drug tests. The playing field has never been so equal.

Know the Play, Make the Move and Experience Compatibility

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of cheesball single man, comfortably occupied by being without a date every weekend. I’d bet you probably never witnessed me ramble about great dating and relationships. Not a fan of the drama.

Helplessness is an unfortunate foreign condition and intentionally neglected in my family history. However, Winter of 09 was an exception, I had to escape from a special cohabitation and I felt a great deal for but simply carried on to nowhere. So you would go on record saying it has been ages since I dated someone new. I can’t find the great expectations that came naturally before.

Single life has had its perks so far. I know one thing, I won’t be reduced to spend another weekend undisturbed, devowering Battlestar Galactica reruns. The number one reason for this spell of temporary dating loneliness? We’re not in high school, and there are fewer available women.

My one-time football friend, Jim, who has never had dating lameness, sympathized because he is now somewhere he can relate. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. A bit out of character, but I like chatting up quality ladies with similar interests. So I got real about my dating life and became a member.

Be honest, ya can’t feel down by being alone when you haven’t called anyone. As my mentor and soccer coach Terry Kniffen snuck into conversation when his wife wasn’t looking, “You’re complaining to the competition, sparky.”

The man didn’t know my name. Regardles, the old guy was on the money in a way nobody could understand. He was good humored. The amazing series of Dallas singles events I just went to might have blown the gipper’s mind.

At yesterday’s Great Expectations dating events I breezily chatted with dozens substantive and attractive singles that catch my interest. I actually had a blast with a few intelligently remarkable singles. Went home following a sweet farewell, and as a plus, I grew some political acquaintances for my company. Score.

Take action. You won’t score if you don’t try. Don’t sell yourself short, at least have great expectations for dating.

Frankly,

Larry D.
